When I translate this mod to Chinese,I found there are so many coined word.I don't know Why are they named like this,could you tell me the origins of these words?

without being able to narrow things down, I'm led to believe you may be referring to the names for the crops. Many of their names are weird, because many of them have or do weird things. I can try to explain the origins behind some of them if you point me the way to the coined words that are giving the most trouble.

For the most part, many of the crops' names are transliterated from latin words, based on what they do.
