If you drop four Cinder Leaves into the ocean, the lava that forms immediately turns to obsidian, which causes the leaves to get pushed aside rather than burned up... causing an endless chain of obsidian generation, until either the leaves get stuck or the entire ocean has been consumed.

...guessing this is an unintentional feature? It gets out of hand pretty quick... but then, so can some other notorious mods haha, so I don't want to assume :P
