A friend who has previously played with this mod on older versions has been having trouble getting Scientia to grow at all with this setup. Each book in the chest contains different keysmashes and have been left here for hours and aren't being consumed.

Accelerating the random tick speed to 500 for testing purposes seems to confirm that it isn't growing at all.
