Hi!
We are on a modded Fabric server, playing Minecraft 1.20.1 and we are using 'Trinkets' as well as 'Packedup' as a backpack mod.

It seems that the backpack associated to the trinket slot next to the chestplate goes lost upon dying and does not appear in the grave. We didn't test out other trinket slots.

Can you confirm this?

Report it to that mods author, as any other trinkets mod seems to work just fine.

Going to assume it's no longer an issue
