I can open the GUI on this block, but it permanently stops the block from working until after you break it/replace it

Keyboard commands seem to get through, but the screen can no longer draw updates.

Yeah, both computercraft and open computers don't use the normal GUI functions. They are currently not supported and will probably not work correctly. I would need to add some new internal features in order to try and get them working which I haven't had time to do yet.

I did test with OpenComputers before but I didn't see that "permanently stops the block from working" behavior previously. That is disturbing. If you are a modpack author or server owner, you should blacklist the mod in the Universal Remote config to prevent problems in the meantime.
