There are a number of oriented textures that UnlimitedChiselWorks adds that have only a single orientation. For example, the mahogany wood planks are oriented East/West no matter how you place them. Their sides are all oriented horizontally. If you could add a variant that runs North/South and has the sides oriented vertically, then they could be used to make more interesting patterns than are now possible. I'm hoping that this would be a relatively trivial addition to your generation algorithm.
