I'm asking this as i'm planning to buy a laptop, but alot of laptops have ARM cpus so i'm considering compatibility vs price between the intel and arm cpus, and i'd like to be able to play this mod aswell

There is Arm support, however Windows on Arm doesn't support VS due to some missing libraries. VS would run on the Arm laptop, if you installed linux instead of windows.
