Insane spawning of vampire hunters

So vampire hunters are spawning en mass causing insane amounts of lag. Video and console here.

I am aware that there are alpha releases available, but this is for the Latest official release.

Thx for reporting this, I will investigate this problem.
In the meantime you could use "/kill @e[type=vampirism.vampireHunter,r=50]" as op to get rid of all vampire hunters near you.
If you are using an alpha version already, you could update to https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/vampirism-become-a-vampire/files/2385416, this should hopefully solve the problem, or at least help me to find the root cause.
As of Vampirism-1.10.2-1.1.0-alpha+03-06-19-21, Vampire hunters are spawning even when there's already hunters nearby.
There's also a bit of spam in the console, not sure if that's related:

In a village? They are supposed to spawn even if there already other hunters in the village, but the total number should be limited (depending on the size of the village).
Are they spawning infinitely or does it stop at some point?
As a vampire in a village, they seem to spawn a bit fast.
In the wild, the small tents seem to be too concentrated when it happens:

I think it would be more interesting to have smaller patches of 3 to 5 tents, with patches at least 5 chunks away from each others. Right now you go 500 blocks in a forest and see none, or see only tents all around: this doesn't feel right.
The issue still occurs MC Eternal 1.3.4, MC 1.12.2. @maxanier
