[Feature]: armor toughness on skin

What?

I think that when you start leveling up as a lord your natural armor as a vampire should also gain armor toughness until it is as good as actual diamond at Prince level and when #757 is added the Dracula player will have skin equivalent to netherite in armor toughness. I think this should be a feature because in a PvP scenario the martial armor is not that good since all the opponent has to do is splash strength and since the natural armor doesn't have armor toughness you can kill a vampire immediately. I do agree that it would be a little OP having built on toughness so I think it should only be available one you reach lord levels. If it seems too OP at least add a vampire accessory that gives armor toughness as your level increases.

Mod experience

I think this would allow for vampires to be a lot less fragile and up the mood experience

Vampires already get armor toughness per level. Up to 8 on level 14 which is equivalent to diamond armor.

Scratch that

Well, I think that it should reach netherite tier at lord 5 and I don't think they do get it at all because a tier 5 baron is dealing 2.5 hearts to me and when I wear diamond that gets reduced even though the toughness probably wouldn't stack

Let me check rq, I can use a resource pack that tells me

That is a human wearing diamond armor.
The green 20 is the armor points, the orange 8 is the armor toughness.

Last I checked.
20=20
And 8=8
So yeah, vampires do have natural armor toughness.
Also, did bro really just question the one of the mod dev's knowledge of the mod?!

That's fair

But I do think that when #757 gets added the natural toughness should equal netherite

The thing is that anybody who thinks logically will realize that netherite armor can still get a vampire player up to 12 armor toughness. It also has a LOT more durability(which is a MUST HAVE when using prot enchants) compared to the vampire clothing. Combine this with the fact that vampires are still the fastest faction even with netherite armor slowing them down, 99% of vampires use netherite armor anyways. There isn't really a point to do this.

But if said armor breaks then this would keep them formidable and then you only depend on the armor for prot enchants

The extra armor toughness comes are the expense of the speed penalty. Making it 12 by default undermines that. Plus, hunter coat armor has less durability than netherite and so does wolf pelt armor. Not to mention vampires being faster than the other factions, and damage limiter stopping you from getting hit for a brief period of time and thus preventing your armor from taking damage for a brief period of time, and being able to turn invisible while keeping your armor on, your already set up at an advantage armor wise, so if your armor breaks, that’s just the players fault. Plus, XP bottles and mending armor.

This is why I think it should be exclusive to the vampire emperor
