For some reason every time I use the command it doesn't seem to work client side, but apparently it says I left the server.

I don't really know what's going on. We're using the Player Roles mod for permissions if that helps with anything

Seems to me that you have Player Roles not configured to include vanish. But I'm not sure.
Maybe upload your roles.json to Pastebin and link it here.

As mentioned before, it works just fine when it comes to what the other player see, but that shows up in the chat for me, which makes it so that I don't know if they think I'm online or not

Can confirm that i'm also having this issue, to add on, the mod also will post an error in console related to PlayerRoles whenever a player relogs. Seems to just be a weird incompat with PlayerRoles?
