What is the new feature or improvement?

Or in other words:

Assuming 4 per level:
Levels would drop: 4, 8, 12, etc.
Instead of: 5, 9, 13, etc.

Feels more intuitive to balance from the reward. I was a little confused when I first vein-mined exactly 51 stone.
