Describe the bug, provide any errors
I am on a 1.8 client (Lunar client) and when trying to open a container on a 1.16.1 spigot server with the latest viaversion, viabackwards, viarewind, it kicks me.

How can we reproduce it?
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Login on 1.8 (I don't know if it is lunar problem)
2. Open any container (hopper, chest, etc)
3. Kicks with the message (screenshot)

Expected behaviour
Inventory GUIs would work correctly

I use Geyser, which is a proxy allowing bedrock players to join a java edition server

I couln't reproduce the issues using 1.8 & 1.8.9 vanilla client but I didn't tested it behind Geyser.
Please test it with a normal client

tried it right now and the issue stlil persists :/

Please provide the full error (set debug=true in server.properties).
