1.8 clients crash on 1.16.5 Server

Describe the bug, provide any errors

That's literally all. ```
Basically, when logging in to a 1.16.5 server with a 1.8.8 client, the game instantly crashes and kicks the player. No errors show in the server itself, and the only error that I could see was in the WaterFall proxy, which is attached above. Connecting on 1.9 works just fine, and connecting with ProtocolSupport also works.
**How can we reproduce it?**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Install ViaVersion, Backwards, And Rewind on a 1.16.5 Paper server.
2. Connect to the server using a legacy version (1.8)
3. ???
4. Player crashes and sends an error in the bungeecord.
I can't exactly give good steps, since I'm not too sure what's causing it myself.

**Expected behaviour**
The legacy players should be able to connect to the server without crashing.

**Additional server info**
I use waterfall, with this list of plugins: Plugins (15): AntiBot, AntiVPN, BungeeHub, BuycraftX, CommandWhitelistBungee, DBVerifier, LuckPerms, NuVotifier, Parties, PartyAndFriends, RedirectPlus, ServerListPlus, ServerUtils, UltraStaffChat and nLogin

**Checklist** (mark with [X] to check)
- [X] I have included a ViaVersion dump
- [X] If applicable, I have included a paste (not a screenshot) of the error
- [X] I have tried a build from https://ci.viaversion.com/ and the issue still persists
- [X] I have looked at https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/viarewind-legacy-support.52924/ and it does not offer a fix for my problem

**IMPORTANT: Follow the Checklist or we can't reproduce your issue and your issue will be close**

@h00z3x This setup (latest Via + latest Waterfall+ latest Paper 1.16.5) works fine for me. Please open a new issue and provide as much detail (dump, crash message, ...) as you can

Checked the dump of this issue (although it's closed); viaversion + viabackwards + viarewind are out-of-date.
