I really like to have this mod but I'm a vanilla enjoyer :D
I really don't want to add a new inventory slot to my vanilla game and I would like to request to add a toggle to turn that off so we can use the hat on the main helmet slot instead of trinket one

Hey so this is kind of along the same vein of this post so I am going to comment it here.

Give an option in the config to equip the hat in the helmet slot so that it is compatible with vanity slots.

Ideally you would have 2 options in the config

Equip-able in trinket slot: true/false
Equip-able in helmet slot: true/false

If you do it like this people like me can turn both options on and it will work in trinket slot helmet slot and vanity slot.

And then people like them can just turn off the trinket slot and it will be equip-able in helmet slots and vanity slots if they have the vanity slots mod installed and if they don't have the mod installed they wont have to worry about an extra slot being there!
