Happens every time i click on the crafting table. doesnt show the visual on top of the crafting table either.

Break and replace the crafting table.

that doesnt fix it. it just keeps saying the same thing while also not showing the items on the model

Please test a separate world with only Visual Workbench installed. Does it work now?
If so there is a mod conflict and your best shot at finding the conflicting mod is to remove mods from your main instance until it starts working.
