SlimeVR FBT missaligned issue

I'm not sure if this is Slime FBT specific but whenever I tried to calibrate my trackers, they would be off set ~1m all together. In SteamVR it shows them in the correct position.

I will also mention that I do use Standable for mixed tracking but I also tried this with Standable off so it's not an issue with Standable.

weird.
1meter offset in what direction?

commented

It was a different direction every time I launched the game, once behind me, second to the left and on my third it was again on the left.

I'll try starting the game when physically in a different position

commented

how do slime trackers identify in steamvr?
and did you assign them roles?
and if so, are they always the same/correct when reconnecting them?

commented

Alright I did my testing again and now it was always to my right no matter if i was in the center of my placespace or not.

Also do you mean assigning roles in SteamVR or in the game? I did not see an option for that

commented

In the calibration menu in the game they all show up as unknown but move correctly, just offset to the right

commented

in steamvr.

the fbt calibration ingame works like this:
if the game detects, that trackers have assigned roles, it will use those, and remember the offsets for them based on their role
if there are no roles, the game should show a message general trackers in use on the calibraion screen, and not reuse the last calibration

wait, so they are offset even before calibration? and in steamvr they show in the right spot?

commented

They have the correct roles assigned. And yes they are offset even before calibration. Including a screenshot

weird

for those cubes it should use the raw position it gets from steamvr

commented

is your worldscale set to 1x?

commented

I figured it out! I had to reset my Origin in the game. Disabling the option to allow reseting the origin fixed it instantly

commented

ah, question, were just the cubes in the wrong place, or also the player model, just so I know what I need to fix

commented

If I applied the calibration it would show the player model offset too
