whenever I input the directory for the virtual box installation it doesn't recognize it but finder does, I have tried many directories related to virtualbox. Is there any solution?

I think VirtualBox would be in '/Applications/Oracle/VirtualBox' unless you altered with it. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling MCVM, if not reset VirtualBox.

same issue here, the valid path is "/Users/YourUsername/Library/VirtualBox" but it says Invalid path still.

The path actually should be inside of VirtualBox.app, here's what's supposed to be the default value: "/Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS"

I'm leaving the issue open as this should be clarified somehow.
