You can add a new island with lava to generate cobblestone.

I don't want to fill the mod with many island types into the main mod, but an addon is possible.
It might be a while though as it's not a priority.

so, with custom islands now, this is possible.
sky resources also comes with it's own special island with cobble gen now.
guess it's time to close this issue....
