Incompatible with Physics Mod, and Essential.

Using Vulkan along with Essential (https://modrinth.com/mod/essential) causes the game to crash at startup.
The same issue happens to Physics Mod (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/physics-mod).
Keep up though, your mod is by far the best in terms of performance, all it needs is a little more compatibility for it to be perfect. :)
It's not just an incompatibility. To fix this, a lot of work needs to be done, so I recommend you to use alternatives of conflicting mods.
I see... Thanks for your answer. I used the term "incompatible" simply because they don't work together, regardless of the complexity it would take to solve this. I opened this issue mainly because those are very popular mods that have no alternatives yet.
I have to add, that I do believe it would be more convenient if the developers from those other mods would work on making them work with Vulkan, rather then the other way around. The only problem is convincing those developers to invest time working on a compatibility with a mod that unfortunately is not very used by the vast majority of players yet.
I do believe this mod will soon become extremely popular. It is amazing how much difference this makes. Sodium only became what it is now because it overshadowed Optifne. This can be the next big performance mod IMO.
I think you should add these mods to the list of compatible and incompatible mods (#46 ) — it is much more convenient to have a general list.
mods that have no alternatives yet
At least Essential has a lot of good alternatives — LAN Extender, Ngrok LAN, Global Host and LAN World Plug-n-Play.
If you are looking for skin customization, then there are absolutely free and quite well-known mods like Cosmetica (beginner level), Ears (haven't tested it), Customizable Player Models (advanced level) and Figura (ultra extreme pro level)
Honestly, I don't think Essential is a good mod at all (reasons bellow).
- broken compatibility with mods and resourcepacks
- the stupidest cosmetics (it is even worse than cosmetics in bedrock)
- custom blacklist (yea, they can just ban your region to play)
- chauvinist developers
- closed source
- and a lot of other bad things
As for Physics Mod, there are some other simpler mods, but yea, this is probably an insane and unique mod.

I appreciate the time you took to list some alternatives :). I am also not a fan of Essential being closed source, but I really like the convenience of it. I have been looking at NotSoEssential. It removes the bloatware (including telemetry) but keeps the core functionality. Sadly it is currently a bit outdated but they are working on it.
As for the Physics Mod, I think it is quite complex and it makes sense it doesn't work yet. That was mostly just a nitpick but I like the alternatives you mentioned! Amethyst Gravity is blessed haha. Some of them work fine with Vulkan Indeed.

That is Forge only.. Vulkan is Fabric or Quilt.
