feature request to allow naming of waystones for players who first discover them, since i run a survival world where they are not craftable/placable, only findable in the wild, and we can't name them once we find them.

You can rename them when you shift right click on the waystone!

Is this server of yours just between friends? If so just make it a rule between you guys that you aren't allowed to rename it.

If it is a public server then I wouldn't think this will be a good idea because someone can just first of all look for all the waystones and rename it to something (indecent) and second of all just leave the server and now you aren't able to rename it.

You can always break the waystone and place it back so you will become the owner (you can change this in the config if only the owner is able to rename it or not).

I don't know if you understand. I have the option "restrict rename to owner only" set to true, yet anyone can still rename the waystones (ones that generate at least), even after someone renames one, another person can come along and still rename it. I'm assuming waystones that are generated have no 'owner', even when found and activated by someone.

Okay that worked, however the problem is anyone is allowed to rename the waystones that we find, not just the owner. I assume the owner should be the person who first discovers the waystone, or even who first renames it.
