I found out that you spawn in chests right after placing them in the direction I placed the waystone from. I made a video to show it better than i can descibe it :)

Current Forge Version: 31.1.36
Current Waystones Version: 6.0.1

Right now, Waystones place the player based on the facing of the waystone (direction from which it was placed). It should probably check for obstructions and try the other directions if blocked.
