For an explanation see DimensionalDevelopment/DimDoors#130, it's basically the same issue (even the note about SPacketEntityProperties applies) except the offending method in Waystones is transferPlayerToDimension.

Also received a crash to desktop in single player when attempting to teleport from a waystone in the nether to a waystone in the overworld (BetterPortals installed).
