Would you be willing to consider a worldgen option for waystones, so that they generate out in the world?

Curious if this will be implemented any time soon, or if WLR should try to create a manual workaround with worldgen mods?

I'll be putting it into the next feature release, I'm just not sure when that will be yet. Currently working on getting all of my mods to a stable state and then I'll be adding new features as time permits.

This would be cool - I've been working on a modpack, and currently am using recurrent complex to add a waystone building to every village, but I just realized that because I made a structure with a waystone and saved it as a template that each waystone is being instantiated as a copy of the waystone in the structure template, so that once one is activated they are all activated. (I'm hoping to fix this, but, I'm not sure how I will yet - maybe a command block or something)

But that would be one option for you - to hook into the village worldgen and place a waystone structure in villages (maybe in the church-type building as the altar?).

I have slight correction to my last comment - RC-generated waystones work, but they can't be named so they all have blank names. Is there a way around this?

You can set the WaystoneName NBT tag of the tile entity (bottom block of the waystone). There's no auto-naming or anything.
