Describe the Issue

After forge/loading screen loads, it says that there's a mod loading error has occurred for the waystone mod because java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException is null

Do you use any performance-enhancing mods (e.g. OptiFine) or custom server distributions (e.g. SpongeForge)?

I would need a full latest.log to resolve this, because this shouldn't be able to happen under normal circumstances. I assume something is going wrong earlier in the loading stage.
