Many of the modpacks I play on go ahead and replace the purple dye in the mod's recipes with warp dust because it makes more sense. Could we do this for all the recipes to keep it consistent? (Because purple dye is such a niche ingredient and a bit hard to get occasionally)

For example I see the bound scroll still uses purple dye

Not sure about this because in the case of paper, dye can make sense, and it allows for a stage of progression where you can use worldgen waystones even if you've not found a geode yet.

I might consider ink instead of purple dye.

I suppose it's more about just purple dye being a niche color; ink is more accessible i agree
