Invalid Player Data caused by Waystones

Describe the Issue
Hello!! :)
On world creation, in singleplayer, the world loads and then, at 100%, the game sends me back to the multiplayer menu tab with the error message "Invalid Player Data".
The error doesn't happen and the game starts normally if i remove the waystones mod from the mod list.

Do you use any performance-enhancing mods (e.g. OptiFine) or custom server distributions (e.g. SpongeForge)?

Adding the tax free levels mod to this mod list crashes the game but only if The waystones mod is present.
I downgraded to Forge 1.20.1 and the game boots just fine with the same mod list.

Same issue. Only mods in use are Waystones and Balm
