Leashed animals become invissible

Describe the Issue
Whenever I use a waystone with a leashed animal, that animal becomes invissible. I can hear it, and if I walk around, the leash will fall off at some point, indicating in which area the animal is, but I still cant see it.
If I go back to where I teleported with it, I can see the animal's icon on my minimap, as if its there too (even if the leash fell of at the 2nd place, so the animal shouldnt be teleporting with me), and I can still hear it. Its almost as if the animal gets stuck and somehow is both places.
Im on 1.19.2 forge.

I have no relevant files, as the bug doesnt crash the game.
