Using 1.12, version 4.0.43. The model still shows up when the block is placed but there's nothing in the inventory, making them pretty hard to tell whether they're in your chests or not. Thought it was an issue with my texture pack, but after disabling it I can see it isn't.

This is already fixed, you need to update to the latest version.
