I dont think this is a feature because I've looked pretty deep into it and couldnt find anything. So I'm assuming it's a bug. On the 1.14.4 version of waystones, when you die, it will remove al the saves on your waystones, and you forget every waystone, which makes it really difficult to get home if your bed breaks and you like a long distance away
