tornado direction

the tornadoes always hits me. every time a storm spawns a tornado, it tracks directly at me. is this a bug?
is there a setting? please help!

It is by design. set Storm_Tornado_aimAtPlayerOnSpawn to false in config/weather2/Tornado.cfg
