someone reported this issue to me:

Agentwolf8835414: I have the problem when its snows sounds like it rains. I use bioms o plenty and Weather2 mod. What can i do?

I use World.isRainingAt(BlockPos) to detect whether if it's raining or not: https://github.com/CreativeMD/AmbientSounds/blob/1.12/src/main/java/com/creativemd/ambientsounds/TickHandler.java#L181

Do you have an idea how to fix it?

Might be a biomes o plenty biome issue, can't reproduce. I dont hear rain when its snowing in extreme hills with all mentioned mods installed. I can test further if I knew what biome they were in.

Could not reproduce it either ... I guess I will contact him again. For now I would call it fixed. Thanks for your time!
