When it rains normally the sound is perfectly working!

But when anything else is involved such as another storm such as Wind, Tornado, OR Cyclone, the sound seems to not work anymore for rain.

I've also have been noticing the rain sounds stopping way far away from the storm, but the rain particles persist.
