Well I don't think Corosus is going to port his 1.18.2 version to 1.12.2. Plus, 1.12.2 is pretty old at this point. I know there's still a lot of mods on that version, but its age is definitely starting to show.
Corosus no longer supports 1.12.2. Mrbt0907 is doing a fan update of 1.12.2 weather2 if you need to stay on 1.12. Otherwise I highly recommend sticking on 1.18+
