I remember this mod having infinite range inside of the world you're currently in. But as of 1.21.4 if you go ~100 blocks away of the storage it unloads... what's the point of that!!

You're probably thinking of Chest Tracker, the client-sided version of this; Where Is It has never had infinite range in order to not crash the server.
