Revert license

Explain your suggestion here.
A clear explanation of what you would like to see and why. "I'd like to see... added because..."
The new license is very restrictive. I made bugfixes for Trailier Tales. I don't like them being relicensed to a license that even doesn't allow me to redistribute anything. It's heck even more restrictive than the RSDKv5 Decomp license.
I knew it would be based on the even-more-restrictive Supplementaries license.
I won't be using your mods anymore.
The program isn't free software anymore.

Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
Make the license less restrictive.
Switch to another license, e.g., Polyform Shield.

Additional context
Add any other context or screenshots about the suggestion here.

…I don’t understand why you would want to redistribute my entire mod

All this is doing is preventing people from quite literally stealing features and making money off it.
We just had this happen to us, hence the change. This didn’t happen for no reason.
You can ask for permission if you want to copy things, it really shouldn’t impact you.

@Eggmanplant I largely agree that the current license is too restrictive, as much as I acknowledge that it was fair for AViewFromTheTop to make changes to licensing after the recent incident. Would adding a clause which explicitly allows contributors to maintain the rights to relicense the contents of their contribution for their own / other projects be enough? Or are there other changes you’d like to see?

commented

I would also like to add, the license declares that assets we have no involvement in the making of are not covered by the license. You still maintain rights to those. In this case, your translation.
I don’t understand why you would want to redistribute my mod over a single line fix in the code, if I’m honest.

And insulting us in your bio? Really?
Because of a license change that doesn’t impact you and has a reason to exist?
I’m sorry but this gives me no reason to want to consider what you’ve said.

Actually I just found this.
I am no longer open to negotiation. The license will continue to see improvements in the future as was already planned, but I will not consult nor listen to you for feedback.
Also, did you know that MehVahd is one of the authors of Immersive Weathering?

If it was due to an incident, I largely agree. I'm very sorry for the bio change. I thought the license change was for no reason. Furthermore, I will revert all the changes to my bio.

EDIT: Was the incident about 9Minecraft (or related sites)?
I didn't know Vahd worked on Immersive Weathering. He's not listed on the Modrinth page, but listed on the CurseForge one. I do not visit Curseforge.
The fork was only for my planned stupid modpack.
The bio change was because I liked your mods, and I thought the license was changed for no reason. I will update my translation. About my Codeberg page, I am slowly moving to Codeberg.
Moonlight should be better relicensed to their Supplementaries license. The "clause" doesn't fit. Libraries should be FOSS.

No, license change was due to bedrockoid copying the entire snowlogging code and feature without permission, which was worsened by complete ignorance of the licenses of the mods they took features from (the entirety or majority of the mod was just individual features copied from other mods)

Also, Frozenlib is still GPL as it is a library mod.

Very good. I like it. Moonlight got relicensed for (I suppose) no reason, and that really infuriated me, as it is another library mod.

I thought same happened to Wilder Wild, but thankfully there was a reason.

I didn't look at closed issues. My fault.

Affero GPL?

Affero GPL?

Not compatible with Minecraft. Use that license that the author of the Zume mod used, maybe?
