They could be compatible with all energy, converted as needed according to a config file. They would have internal energy storage, also configurable. They could pull energy from different sources, like primarily batteries or armor. This could be configurable per item to make sure they're not draining your tools. They could also pull energy from the player itself if cyberware's 1.12.2 port, robotic parts is installed. Once the power runs out, they would stop working. Important to make sure they can be charged wirelessly. I'm specifically asking for 1.12.2 version as well because some mods will just never be updated beyond 1.12.2 it is still the only modded version many of us can play. I hope you will consider my suggestion.
