The wings potion effect conflicts with mushroom quest's aromatic effect and when drinking the wings potion it gives the wings graphics but gives the mushroom quest effect instead of the wings effect.

The first image shows what happens when using the /effect command and applying the wings:fire_wings effect. The second image shows when using the /wings give command it will permanently give the aromatic effect.
