Stack overflow error when searching for certain items

Sometimes when I search for items(same search every time) it will crash the server. I can search for it fine with the normal wireless terminal, normal crafting terminal, and in NEI just fine. Using version 1.7.10-rv3-1.8.7.4b in the modpack Project Ozone. After the server restarts the terminal is no longer in my inventory which makes me believe it definitely stems from it.
On further analysis it seems to be due to me inputting a number when the search bar is not in focus. for example, if the terminal is in hotbar slot 1 and i accidentally type 1 without it in focus it tries to swap the terminal and crashes
