Are we close to a new release? Also the compiler isn't working for me... But I can wait until an alpha/beta

This project abandoned 1.12 quite a while ago and no release was planned. But recently I started working on a pr to add a floating boat to the underworld dimension, containing some enemies and loot (for example the ancient pearly pearl). You can see the progress of the work here #348. I'm pretty sure there will be a new version after I implement it. What do you mean by the compiler is not working? I recently made a pr (#347) to fix the gradle build script, so you should be able to build the project now.
