[1.12] Wolf health only displays in full heart increments

Issue Description
Half hearts are not displaying on the wolf's stat bars

Reproduction Steps
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Load into a world with stats enabled in the nameplate and gui
Spawn and tame a wolf
Punch the wolf
The health above the wolf's head an in the inventory only displays damage in full-heart increments.

The wolf is damaged, and manages to heal at the very end of the video. The amount healed is a full heart.

Expected Behavior
The damage should be displayed in half-heart increments.
