WORLDEDIT-2649 - Reported by KCRafted

When using the //flip command in the 1.4.7 snapshot, stairs are not flipping the correct way. all stairs are 1 metadata off of what they should be. Some are one higher, and some are one lower depending on the direction the original stairs are facing.

http://i50.tinypic.com/2u6mfqr.jpg -- this is using the //flip me command with one of each type of stairs. Shouldn't the stairs flip so the ones on all the way too the right are now facing the same way the arrow is pointing, not the way they were originally facing?

These are two more pictures of a section of my build. I flipped it and all of the stairs are now facing the wrong way, along with the torches no longer against the wall.

After //flip me : http://i49.tinypic.com/t5ludg.jpg

as you can see, the stairs are no longer flush with the pillar and now facing outwards. Is this how the command is meant to work? lol

it's hard to tell what's going on due to your texture pack, but going by the first picture it's working fine
note that flip is uni-directional, which is why two rows appear to be not flipped, you have to specify the correct direction and flip it that way in addition

Sorry for the texture pack, here are two more photos. in these photos, the first is just a copy of a section of my lower pillars in my build. and the second is that same section flipped to the west. You see the stairs at the top of the pillar are all facing the wrong way after the flip, where i had to go back in using the cycler tool and flip them either one data up, or one data down depending on the direction they were facing for them to be the correct orientation.

I am expecting flip to work much like a mirror command in a 3D modeling program such as Catia. is this a wrong assumption? does it not act like a mirror when it comes to stairs? I don't see the usefulness of the command if this is the way it it suppose to work. no offense, just trying to understand. Or am I doing something wrong?
