WORLDEDIT-2917 - Reported by Ward.aka.WardsParadox

I'm not running Worldguard, but I am noticing that after pasting anything no one other than ops can build there. We just built a spawn and I pasted into our new world via the schematic commands, but they can no longer build on it.

I've noticed this in another project my group was working on. What is weird is that they have the worldedit.* permission and everything.

Little help or is this a known bug?

well if it is pasted in the spawn area of bukkit then only ops can. Minecraft has a global spawn protection of 20. Not sure if that is your issue but worth a check since i don't believe world edit uses block protection

let me check on that. However the new project isn't near the spawn, and he was able to build there before he pasted some buildings from another area.

worldedit doesn't do any sort of protections. going to need more details.

Okay. So I copy from one world (our creative world, which has the same permissions) to our survival world (once again same permissions), at this point it isn't the spawn. The user I granted worldedit.* is a non-op and she can no longer builder in that zone.

Do you have any other plugins that control where a user can build? Not sure if it is allowed to but maybe post a list of your plugins. More info the better as wizjany mentioned cant reproduce this

The only plugin that would do that is Factions. Which at the time had just been reset itself so no faction data even existed yet
