Enhancement request: Multipart support

WORLDEDIT-2963 - Reported by CaerMaster
WorldEdit appears to function correctly with RedPower-compatible microblock implementations (which at this point basically means Immibis microblocks), but does not support the more capable Forge Multipart implementation. Is it feasible to add Forge Multipart support?

This would be invaluable to me and those that play on my server. Please add support for Forge Multipart!

I would also love to see this, would be very useful when moving creations involving multiparts around. It's also now the largest and most-supported multipart mod available, with the most features.

I know many people who would love to have this feature implemented.

Much appreciated. :) In addition to the normal editing/building tasks, I find WorldEdit a far superior tool for preserving structures (like player bases) through world regens than MCEdit.

When will you have time to do that ? I'm a bit hurried by this feature :3

Not sure to be honest. Might be easier to release the Forge version of WorldEdit and have people use that.

Bukkit would have been nice to use AsyncWorldEdit, but if it means we can get better mod support, Forge is also a good option. ^^

There actually has been a Forge version for a long time now (maybe a year), but it has not yet been released because no one has had time to do it. The code on GitHub (in WorldEdit's repo) and it's currently updated for MC 1.6.4.

@sk89q It's been 2 years now. Any progress? I still can't copy/paste/stack multiparts, and it's super frustrating. I do a lot of repetitive builds, and I can't use my favorite mod in them. I know devs hate to be asked about progress, I'm sorry if I'm coming off like a douche.

this has actually been in for quite a bit now, it should be completely working on 1.7.10 builds.

@wizjany That's not true at all, and instead of arguing, I just recorded a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcC8bH2qR44&feature=youtu.be
