Can forestgen be enhanced to search below snow for dirt/grass blocks and place tree's there?

Tested Build #2971-85035a2, /forestgen seems to just turn snow blocks to air but never tries to place a tree on that location after the swap.

that's just the way minecraft's generator works, worldedit can't do anything else about that.
in my testing, the success rate for placing trees is still reasonable, there's only a few blank spots in comparison.
