It would be really awesome if it was possible to replace, set, overlay and so on with "double blocks" such as double tallgrass, beds, double flowers & doors. Currently it will only use the "lower" part of the block.

i think this just requires adding them to the attachment list - we might need a special extent though since it needs a certain block

edit: for the record, it's completely possible right now for users to do, using masks and fast mode

Were you talking about the "Only place above certain blocks" feature in masks?
That will work, but the problem is that Minecraft automatically removes the invalid blocks, so you would have to be really fast to overlay with the top part of double blocks.
