Describe the issue

With only a minimal install WTHIT / JEI / Fabric API mod menu , bind the Recipes / Usage to a key and attempt to use it on a block with no recipe / use. The appropriate key works properly if there is a recipe / use it's only the one that doesn't link that cause sthe problem. There's a black flickering and nothing else happens.

There seems to be a separate issue where non-blocks don't display Usage / Recipe at all because a dropped stick didn't flicker but also didn't show it's recipe or usage but maybe that's the intended behaviour ?

Additional context

This is a pretty minor error but since I realised the exact problem as I was debugging it seemed like a more major issue ( a render error when trying to use the Recipe / Usage viewer at all ) when I started.
