The Wyrmroost wiki states that butterfly leviathans can be bred with kelp, but this doesn't appear to work; you mount the leviathan whenever trying to feed it kelp.

They are a little hard to breed because their hitboxes are just too big. Try forcing both in a hole so that their hitboxes can clip into each other and make sure they're not sitting.

I've just tried that, but they seem to have no interest in eachother; they don't even look at eachother. I'm facing a similar issue with the rooststalkers, while others (like the overworld drakes and silver gliders) are able to breed.

Use meat. Kelp was used as a placeholder back in 1.14.4. Also don't trust the wiki, it is unofficial and edited by fans and is often misleading.

Thanks for the quick reply. I had deduced from the code that it may be trying to use meat, they produce love hearts when fed, however they still appear unable to breed with it.

Additionally, alpine dragons are unable to breed. Heart particles appear but they do not attempt to court eachother.
