config file not found

Describe the bug
I hope this is a bug and not me being stupid.

I can't seem to find the config options, so I am assuming they don't generate.
There should clearly be an option to config the mod since it says so on: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/xl-food-mod
I quote: "Also, a config file of the mod has the option to disable the world generation of Grass, Vanilla Flowers, and Rock Salt."

In these three places did I try to find a config file or change the configs:

  1. I start the game and press the mods button on the title screen,
It brings me to all my mods installed, one of them XL FOOD
Once I press on it there is a config button, but it is grayed out (not clickable)
  2. I go to my minecraft game folder (.minecraft)
there I find a config folder generated from forge
there are most mods config files (.toml files),
but XL FOOD is not there
  3. I go to the serverconfig folder (.minecraft/saves//serverconfig)
some mods have there config options in here (e.g.: lostcities, solcarrots),
    but again no XL FOOD

To clarify, I removed all mods and tried this with only XL FOOD and Optifine (and of course forge)

To Reproduce

  1. simply install minecraft with forge and put XL FOOD and Optifine into the mods folder
  2. launch minecraft with froge once
  3. try to config the mod

Expected behavior

Additional context
I am trying to disable xlfood:grass and make minecraft:grass drop xlfood:grass's loot with a datapack, hope I can achive this.
Reducing vanilla flower might be good as well, but is not really necessary

Environment

  • Minecraft Version: 1.14.4
  • XL Food Mod Version: 1.14.4-2.2.2
  • Forge Version: 1.14.4-28.2.0

The config didn't get ported to 1.14+ and I forgot to mention that on Curseforge. I'm working on a new config though and should have it ready soon!
