Removing Upgrades?

Just wondering how to remove upgrades. Can't find anything online about it. Am I missing something obvious, or...

For now upgrades aren't removable, but there are big updates for yabba upcoming soon™

I can relate. There are all kinds of things I planned to do, then Thaumcraft 6 happened.
