I'm sorry that happened, but I can't seem to reproduce it. Are you using the latest version?

I am using the latest version and experiencing the same bug. It occurs the moment you click the next page arrow from the cover of the guide book. You can still close the book before then, and everything will be ok.

Have had this issue reported & replicated it myself.

I have this same issue, I have other addon mods (plusTiC, Moar Tinkers) for tinker's that adds new materials, which are used by yoyos. If the manual shows these materials, it might have to do with how the manual is programmed to show these, and therefore, they might not be working. Also for some reason i did not get a crash report, maybe because i forced he game to terminate while it was freezing.

So I've figured out the crash occurs when Mantle tries to draw an item that isn't registered. I'm working on fixing it now. In the meantime, enabling vanilla yoyos in the config will fix the crash.
